Discovery of Enhancer RNA for SNAIL

Fan and Wang et al. found an TGF-β–induced self-enabling enhancer RNA SNAI1e that activates the transcription of epithelial-to-mesenchymal transcription factor SNAI1, thereby enhancing breast cancer cell migration, invasion and chemotherapy resistance.
