‘We educate people’
In an academic institution such as the LUMC, education and research are intimately connected. Members of CCB participate in a variety of educational programs: from teaching the basics in bachelor programs to guiding advanced investigations in state-of-the-art facilities; from developing new (on-line) teaching courses to chairing LUMC education committees; from assisting pre-university high school students in research projects to providing specialist postgraduate courses. The aim of our teaching, is to explain the molecular basis of life and disease, and how this knowledge can be translated into clinically relevant therapeutics.
