Research
My research focuses on the discovery and functional characterization of cancer-type-selective non-coding regulatory elements. My PhD project integrates multi-omics data, including ATAC-seq, ChIP-seq and RNA-seq, to identify and characterize regulatory elements across cancer types. Candidate elements will be functionally validated using CRISPR-based approaches, including dual-CRISPR screening, to better understand the role of non-coding DNA in cancer-specific gene regulation.
Curriculum Vitae
I obtained my Master’s degree from Sichuan University, majoring in Medicine, where I developed a research background in cancer genomics, multi-omics and bioinformatics. I subsequently joined Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) as a PhD candidate under the supervision of Dr. Baoxu Pang. My current research combines computational analysis and functional genomics to investigate cancer-type-selective non-coding regulatory elements.
