Jin Gan and Laura Claessens both received an award for their excellent oral presentations at the 9th Proteasome & Autophagy Congress in Clermont-Ferrand (FR).

Jin presented his work ‘The affair of USP16: an ISG15 cross-reactive deubiquitinase’ and Laura presented her work on ‘The role of poly-SUMO2/3 protease SENP6 in the DNA damage response’.
