Main Prize EU TalentOn Katowice Poland 2024 to Anneke Kastelein and Team

Last week, Anneke Kastelein and her team won the main prize €12,000 of the EU Talenton for "their outstanding contribution to Mission Arena: Cancer".

Initiated and funded by the European Commission, EU TalentOn aims to challenge young talented researchers to find solutions to help solve the most pressing global issues. Anneke and her team, “Breath for Life” developed a novel method to detect cancer with just one breath. By proposing a portable, affordable and non-invasive method, they hope to make cancer detection available to everyone, everywhere.
