Clinical Internships

CCB department initiated Clinical Internships to bridge the fundamental research with the clinical practice.

In the LUMC clinicians and fundamental researchers work together for solving medical problems and bringing the best treatment and care to the patient. Clinical Internships offer to the participants insights into:

  • how treatment decisions are made
  • what is important for the patient
  • other relevant aspects for translating the research findings into the clinic.

For the fundamental researchers working on a research line with a translational character, the contact with the clinic is very important. Clinical Internships are monthly organized. Registration via
