In the LUMC clinicians and fundamental researchers work together for solving medical problems and bringing the best treatment and care to the patient. Clinical Internships offer to the participants insights into:
- how doctors interact with patients
- how treatment decisions are made
- what is important for the patient
- other relevant aspects for translating the research findings into the clinic.
For the fundamental researchers working on a research line with a translational character, the contact with the clinic is very important. Clinical Internships are monthly organized. Registration via clinicalinternships@lumc.nl
