Research:

As a Research Technician I support experiments within the Circadian Clocks group. I have been fascinated by the complexity and adaptability of the human brain for as long as I can remember.

Neuroscientific research not only provides a way to elucidate the signaling mechanisms within our complex neuronal networks, but also how input through the senses affect the networks regulating our cognitive and physiological state.

Curriculum Vitae:

I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Medical Laboratory Sciences at the University of Applied Sciences Leiden in early 2019. After my Bachelor’s thesis internship within this group I gladly stayed on as a Research Technician.
