MSc Sanne Jong

Research

Since October 2023 I work as a Research Technician within the group of Alfred Vertegaal. I am currently working on a project that studies the molecular mechanism behind dendritic cell activation by ubiquitin E1 inhibition, using TAK-243 as therapeutic approach. We aim to identify the cell surface receptors that are regulated by ubiquitination.

Curriculum Vitae

I studied Biology and Medical laboratory research at the Hogeschool leiden and did my graduation internship at LUMC within the group of Marco de Ruiter. Under the supervision of Tamara Borsboom, I worked on a project that studied the origin of a congenital heart disease called the Transposition of the Great arteries.

After completing my Bachelor, I started working as a Research Technician within the group of Alfred Vertegaal.
