Maarten A.H. van Dinther

Curriculum Vitae:

I studied at the laboratory school (HLO, Fontys Eindhoven)  from 1996 to 2000. I did my internship at the Radboud University, at the department of microbiology (prof. Huub op den Camp) and was supervised by Harry Harhangi working on an exoglucanase from Piromyces. From 2000 to 2001 I worked as a research technician at Pharming group NV in Leiden, work there focussed on making Flp/Frt and LoxP/CRE recombination cassettes in the casein locus of a bovine ES line for the generation of transgenic cows with recombinant protein expression in the milk. From the end of 2001 I started working in the group of Peter ten Dijke as a research technician. First at the NKI (2001-2004) and later at the LUMC (2005 till present). The work in Peter ten Dijke’s group is focussed on TGFβ and BMP signalling.
