Lab technician

I studied at the Leiden University of Applied Sciences (HLO, Hogeschool Leiden) from 2018 to 2021. During this time, I completed an internship at LUMC in the department of Surgery, specifically within the Image Guided Surgery group. I worked on nanobodies conjugated to ICG to visualise and target malignant rectal cells.
Following my internship, I worked as a research technician from 2022 to 2023, focusing on the preclinical in-vitro evaluation of NIR fluorescence tracers for cancer detection. In May 2023, I moved to the Pathology department at LUMC, where I processed patient samples for approximately 8 months.
In February 2024, I joined the Experimental Immunology department at Amsterdam UMC for 13 months, where I worked on viral intestinal infections and the impact of autophagy on intestinal homeostasis.
In March 2025, I started working as a technician in the group of Peter ten Dijke, where I focus on the early detection of pancreatic cancer using extracellular vesicles.
